Background

The Indycar Harvest GP was a doubleheader race weekend hosted by Indianapolis Motor Speedway on October 2-3, 2020 as a part of the NTT Indycar Series event schedule.

I was tasked with creating this website site to communicate information on this new event, push ticket sales, and drive tv network tune-in. I used the content management system (CMS) Ceros to bring this page to life.

Team: Jalen Moore and IMS Creative Services for Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Goals & Objectives

INFORMATION ORGANIZATION: Organize content in a compelling and exciting manner that users can navigate with ease.

TICKET SALES: Drive ticket sales for the event by increasing awareness.

TUNE IN: Persuade users to tune in via the series network partners if not attending in person.

I had some creative freedom on this project, so I elected to create a captivating yet slick user experience that was informative for both new and veteran fans alike.

Challenges and Results

COMFORT ZONE: This was the first time I took the lead in creating a campaign brand while on the creative services team at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It challenged me to think about how a unique product can stand out while still fitting within a well-established brand.

Successful Reach: From launch to the day of the first race, the site brought in just over 14,000 visitors averaging about 1,175 visits a day. Metrics the marketing team felt were encouraging for a brand new event weekend.
